I keep and use this oil mainly in my coffee! Coconut oil is about 45% to 50% lauric acid, making it one of the richest natural dietary sources of this specific saturated fatty acid. It contains a unique type of medium chain saturated fat called lauric acid that research shows raises HDL or "good" cholesterol levels, & is an effective moisturizer for skin and hair.
